About
Director - Christine Whitmore has worked with young children since 1993. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Environmental Studies. She also obtained an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education in 1998. Her gentle and holistic approach to educating young children emphasizes a multidisciplinary background and a broad understanding of early childhood development. She has taken additional coursework in Parenting with Positive Discipline, Healthy Children - Healthy Planet and trained with the Center for Music and Young Children. The Young Wonders environment reflects her love of gardening, creative pursuits and a desire to share her passion for sustainable living.
